| Serving a Purpose |
|
Are you still trying to figure out what your “life purpose” is, or questioning whether you even have one? Whether you believe you have a specific, pre-destined reason for being here or not, you can turn your life into something magical by instead deciding to serve a purpose in everything you do. Serving a purpose is as simple as devoting your time and energy to activities that contribute something positive to yourself and others. One of the best ways to do this is by following your bliss. What makes you feel happy? What makes you feel inspired? Identify those things, and then come up with ways you can share them with others. When you do this on a daily basis, you automatically feel more purposeful. You’ve got something to look forward to each day, and you go to sleep at night feeling satisfied that you did something worthwhile. Before long, you notice that your life seems richer, deeper and more fulfilling. Not only do you feel better, you naturally bring that same quality of love and passion into the other areas of your life, like your relationships, your work, and your personal development process. Everything begins to take on a rosy glow, all because you shifted your focus from emptiness and lack to abundance and fulfillment. Take some time to identify your most meaningful activities today. What is most important to you? What are you naturally good at? What skills and talents can you share with others in positive ways? If you could choose a life purpose, what would it be? Once you have identified the things that are most important to you, begin doing them every day. Don’t worry about making money from them, or where they might lead you eventually. For now, simply enjoy them. Use them to benefit others and you will benefit yourself also. What better purpose could there be? |
